Syllabi is an online GCSE prep platform for UK students in Maths, English and Science. Live group lessons, 24/7 personal tutors, workbooks, recordings, and marked assessments - all in one place.
We built the whole platform from the ground up. Nobody else in UK edtech is doing this at scale, and 1,200+ students already rely on us as their main way of learning.
>What you'll do
Touch every part of the business. Growth, ops, hiring, product, customer research, finance. You'll work across all of it, not in a single lane.
Own real projects from week one. No shadowing, no rotation. Things you ship that move the business forward.
Work directly with Ali every day. Mentored on the work, the decisions, and the thinking behind both.
>Mandatory Requirements

- •Right to work in the UK long-term. We don't sponsor visas.
- •Be on track for, or already hold, a 2:1 or above (or equivalent)
- •Be a final-year student graduating in 2026, or a graduate.
- •Be based in Birmingham or relocate at your own cost before July 27.
- •Fully in-person, no hybrid, no remote.
- •Write fluently in English. Clarity and precision matter.

Hi, I'm Ali.
My background is in medicine, but my love for entrepreneurship started at a very young age.
I have been building companies since 8 years old. It is what I love.
My goal with Syllabi is simple: be 10x better than anyone else, in every area, at all times.
The founder's analyst role is a phenomenal opportunity to be part of something massive, and learn more about building and scaling companies by being in the game, rather than watching from the sidelines.
The Package
The Internship
Starting 27th July 2026
- •A 6-week paid trial in our Birmingham office, directly with the founders
- •£4,500 flat
- •Birmingham office, in-person, full-time
- •Successful candidates will be offered full-time roles
The Full-Time Role
Starting 7th September 2026
- •£40,000 base salary
- •Up to £29,000 in performance bonuses in your first year
- •Year-one ceiling: £69,000
- •Post pension, MacBook, £500 learning budget
